BoyZone Band Member Dies in Spain

Stephen GatelyStephen Gately, a member of an Irish Band called Boyzone died in a Spanish Island, Majorca on Saturday. The details of his death was not disclosed yet.

BoyZone has been one of Ireland’s most popular bands with six No. 1 singles in the United Kingdom, and four No. 1 albums, Ticketmaster said. The band has separated in 2000 and got reunited in 2008.

Metro Manila, Philippines has experienced its worst flood ever in more than 43 years on Saturday, September 26, 2009. The rain that caused the great flood lasted for only 6 hours but PAGASA says, the amount of rainful for 6 hours is worth a month.

The damages caused by the Typhoon Ondoy:  72 dead and missing. Meanwhile on Saturday, thousands of people were stranded in their rooftops and thousands more stuck on the road.
