Spa for Hubby

Author: admin  //  Category: Daily Life, Family Life

We don’t have a bath tub at home. So, whenever we stay in hotels or accommodations with a bath tub, I never fail to give my Hubby a spa treatment. That’s my way of treating him after a busy and stressful day.

Spa treatments and baths really relaxes the body and the mind, making one very refreshed and relaxed.

Here are some of  the  baths I give for my Hubby.

Rose Bath – A few drops of Rose and Lavender essential oil and dried or fresh Rose petals.

Milk and Oatmeal Bath- 2 cups  powdered milk and 1 cup oat meal dissolved in hot water, a few drops of Lavender essential oil.

Orange Bath- 1 orange fruit cut in thin slices, a few drops of orange essential oil.

Try it.. it’s very refreshing!

I’m blessed that I have a hubby who’s a Handy Man. Indeed, life is easier and more convenient with a handy man Hubby.

You see, we’re in the process of interior decorating our house right now, but in a very tight budget. So, we can’t afford buying those expensive accents, fixtures and accessories.

So, we just have to make them ourselves. Just like our shelves in our living room, my Hubby made all of that by himself. And we only spent about 500 Baht ( a little over 10$) to beautify our living room area. Our ceiling lamps only cost around 100 baht each ( 2-3$) since he made it himself. Great huh? Now, that interior decorating in a budget by Mr. Handy Man.. ( Photos to follow soon).

Baking With My Li’l Girl

Author: admin  //  Category: Cooking, Daily Life, Family Life

My li’l girl loves to help me bake. I, on the other hand loves to bake but  is worried of finishing all the baked goods as I have a sweet tooth. So, as much as I can, I try to avoid baking cookies and cakes except on special occassions or when we have to give these goodies to our friends.

But one afternoon, after a lot of prodding and convincing from my li’l girl, I agreed to bake cookies with her that afternoon. Good thing I bought a cookie mix from Tesco the other month. It was actually my first time to buy something premix as I usually bake goodies from scratch. But it was on 80% clearance sale, so that explains me buying it.

But I think I will have to buy more premixed goodies in the future. It’ll make a good baking practice for my li’l girl with less mess, less ingredients and less time to prepare. I think these premixed goodies are a bit more expensive but maybe there will be more stock clearance sales coming up.

Here are the cookies we baked.. Yum!
