Busy Yet Fun Weekend

Three family friends of ours are coming over this weekend. Two of the families will be staying in our house. We’ve already prepared our guestroom and our daughter’s room for them to stay for a few nights. Both these families have 2 children who are almost the same age with our children. So, I can’t imagine how lively and fun this household will be during the weekend.

Yes, I’ll be quite busy  hosting our guests but it’ll also be so much of fun. It’s actually a great change from our lonely days being by ourselves here in the house. And not to mention, I won’t get so much stressed with my guests because they’re the same nationality with me and they’re my close friends.

I usually get worried when guests stay in our house especially when I don’t know my guests that well. I get stressed over the food  I need to cook, their expectations and so many things.

I know I don’t have that gift of hospitality but as my Hubby always tell me, even if I don’t have that gifting BUT I can always learn it… Yeah, I think he’s right.. but as an introvert, I’m sure I have a lot more adjustments and learning to make. :)

Lights At The Park

Our kids were already restless and quite bored in the house. So, we decided to just go out and have some fresh air. It’s good that we remembered the Lantern Festival at park, so we went there. And I’m glad we did. We saw all the beautiful lanterns and our kids truly enjoyed the trip.
