Leona Lewis, a famous British singer who got a boost in career by winning the British show ” The X Factor” (2006) was attacked during a book signing in Central London, Wednesday. A 29 year old man punched Lewis and was arrested at the Waterstones bookstore in Piccadilly Circus at 4:36 p.m. However, no details have been released yet on how seriously she got hurt.

Dominick Dune 1925-2009

Dominik DuneVanity Fair reported the death of writer,  Dominik Dune. He was 83 and died of bladder cancer.

Dominik Dune was a regular writer for Vanity Fair and fictionalized several real-life events, such as the murders of Alfred Bloomingdale’s mistress Vicki Morgan and banking heir William Woodward, Jr., for best-selling books. He eventually hosted the TV series Dominick Dunne’s Power, Privilege, and Justice on CourtTV (later truTV), in which he discussed justice and injustice and their intersection with celebrities. Famous trials he covered include those of O.J. Simpson, Claus von Bulow, Michael Skakel, William Kennedy Smith, and the Menendez brothers.

His wrote the following novels
* The Winners (1982)
* The Two Mrs. Grenvilles (1985)
* People Like Us (1988)
* An Inconvenient Woman (1990)
* A Season in Purgatory (1993)
* Another City, Not My Own (1997)

And he was working on his final book, Too Much Money at the time of his death.
