As mentioned earlier, thousands of people have been affected during the Sendong Flood a few weeks ago. Most of the people whose houses have been washed away haven’t been fully settled yet. While some went back to where their houses used to stand,many are waiting for the government’s relocation site.
So, what are the needs of the flood victims now? For those whose houses have been washed away, they’re immediate need will surely be Houses and household stuff. As for those whose houses have been damaged, they will need the basic household necessities like blankets ( just the normal ones and not the heated blanket ), gas stove, gas tank and other kitchen utensils.
I do hope that the government will be quick in responding in meeting the people’s need. I just couldn’t imagine what everyone is going through right now as some of them just didn’t lose their properties but also their loved ones.
