How do you pack your frozen meat in the freezer?
Before, I usually just wash them and put them in plastic containers. But since our freezer is too small and the plastic containers take too much space, I just immediately slot in the bought meat still in the plastic inside.
But lately, before putting the freshly bought meat into the freezer, I divide them first into smaller batches ( per meal) and marinate them according to my desired dish and then place them in ziplock plastic bags. For example, I have meat in covered in ginger-garlic paste and curry for a curry dish, meat in barbecue sauce for baked meat and salt and pepper for undecided dishes. Preparing these takes a little bit more time compared with putting them straight to the freezer. But it does save a lot of time the next few days and not to mention, the meat tastes better since it’s soaked with all the spices for a long time.
