With our li’l girl in school now, we try to keep the week days TV free. Our girl loves watching her favorite cartoons in TV/DVD and somehow we feel that she can’t concentrate much with her homework knowing that she’ll be watching cartoons after. So, we decided not to let her watch her cartoons during the weekdays. And because of this, I’m turning out to be busier than ever as I have to create activities to keep them occupied. That explains my absence in the blogworld and social networking sites.
But, anyways I really feel that it’s the best decision for our kids and because of this, they play with their toys more and read their books more often too. But sometimes, just sometimes, I have to break this rule a bit especially when I need to do some chore and don’t want to be disturbed by my 2 year old.. I just put the Brainy Babies in the player as it’s also an educational DVD.. Shhh…
