I have a fitness blog in which I write my ‘progress’ in my endeavor to lose weight. Well, so far I haven’t been successful yet and it’s like I take 2 step forward and 1 step back and even sometimes it feels more like 1 step forward and 2 steps back. But at least, I’m not giving up yet.
Anyways, tomorrow I’ll be buying a weighing scale since the one I have now gives me different results depending on which part of the scale I stand.
It’ll be nice to have those digital scales but they also cost a lot.
Anyways, if you’re interested with my weight loss journey, please do visit my Trying to Be Fit blog.

I don’t know how many times I’ve already mentioned that I want to organize our house. Well, I’m still not done yet and I believe that our bedrooms need a lot of organizing.I kinda like our new arrangement now downstairs ( thanks to Hubby who turned the house ‘upside down’ again the other night) and I could say that it’s a bit more organized now and easier to maintain.
As for our bedrooms, there is still a lot of work needed to be done especially with our girl’s room. She has a lot of books and toys and it’s kinda difficult for her to keep them organized.I better get those pretty printed boxes and label them appropriately so she will learn to keep her things at the right place. The pretty boxes will also add color and ‘beauty’ to her room. We badly need a storage area too. If we have one, then our bedrooms would have more space and less clutter.

Today is Week 2 of homeschool with my li’l girl and we are really enjoying it. Just this afternoon we were laughing at one of the funny Mother Goose rhymes and we were also excited with the continuation of the story of the Box Car Children. Aside from my girl learning a lot of new things, I see our homeschooling time as a time to bond with each other.
Everyday as we do our homeschool, the more I’m convinced that the materials are really fitted for my daughter. For one, she’s an auditory learner and therefore can remember things fast as she hears them. So, it’s no wonder how she can answer all the follow up questions after I read her read-alouds, Science books and etc. I just make sure that I do daily review with her with our previous lessons to make sure she remembers them. Then, my daughter loves to stories. With the materials that we are using, almost everything is in a story form so, this keeps her very attentive. And lastly, our girl loves one on one time with me, so I this is also a plus factor on why she is excited to do homeschool.
The materials which we are using also have a lot of plus factors but I’ll have to discuss them later.
