Domestic Diva Wannabe

I used to be not so fond of flowers. Over chocolates and flowers, I will have to choose chocolates. But my Hubby loves to give flowers and later, I’ve also appreciated this gesture and learned to like them too.

Now, I love flowers and I especially like to see the wedding flowers at every wedding. There were weddings we attended where we were impressed by such beautiful  flower decoration. And only later we will find out that the wedding couple spent a whole lot of money for the flower decorations. Yes, a big sum of money that can already cover a whole wedding budget for some couples.

There were also some weddings we attended with very simple wedding flowers decoration that we hardly notice them. As for our wedding, just had very simple flower decorations.Our friends did it for us and we just truly appreciate them because we know how late they slept the night before the wedding just to decorate the church. It was such a beautiful gesture from them. As what they said, it’s a labor of love.

But anyways, whether  weddings are grandly decorated or not, a marriage itself is already grand as it is a miracle for God.

Of course , I will always choose to machine wash our clothes than to wash it manually. But then, I’ve noticed that as I’ve machine wash some of our ‘going out’ clothes, a few of them get faded and look old fast.

So, I have to make an extra effort now to hand wash some of those ‘sensitive’ clothes so, as to preserve these clothes color and condition.

Today was  an unusual day. There were too many things that happened at the same time for my Hubby and a staff at the center.

When hubby arrived at the Center this morning, he was so shocked to find out that the electricity has been cut off! They never received any electricity bill nor any warning letter and the department just immediately disconnected the power line. So, Hubby went on his way to the electricity department, got lost looking for the building and suddenly motorcycle banged his car and another Songtaew from behind. It means the motorcycle was forcing his way in between both vehicles who had the right of way. As a result our side mirror got destroyed but there were no scratches on the car. The motorcycle driver then went down and apologize to Hubby and left. The Songtaew driver  on the  hand just said, ” Mai pen rai ( It’s okay)” and didn’t  demand anything from the motorcycle driver and he also went his way.

And a few minutes later, Hubby called our co-worker at the center and he also got the news that someone banged our Center’s van from behind. A man reportedly drove the car and accidentally banged the Center’s  parked van and left! Our friend on the other hand saw the scene from the 2nd floor and was able to recognize the guy who banged it.

It was only later they were able to talk to the man and he apologized for the damage he made ( broken tail lights) and said he would pay for it.

Quite an unusual day huh? But I thank God that in all these, no one was hurt.
