Back To Normal Routine

Our guests have already left yesterday. We truly had a great time with our them. Just this morning, when our kids woke up, their faces were not so filled with excitement just like they did for the past 6 days. My li’l girl just lay down on the couch and was still talking about how she misses her friends. While my li’l boy came down and asked, ” ‘an I wash lil mermay?”. He was asking if he could watch little mermaid. This was the gang’s favorite movie when the guests were here. I couldn’t count how many times they’ve watched this movie.

On the other hand, I have to go back to my normal routine. No more chats, giggles and laughter with my friends. Have to go back to attend my laundry, clean my kitchen, wash all the dishes except for the pots and stainless steel drums , clean the toilets and other parts of the house. In other words, my vacation is also OVER. LOL!

Ok I got to go now…

Stong Cleaning Chemicals

Some cleaning chemicals are just way too strong. I remember cleaning our toilet one day when I was still pregnant and I almost passed out because of the smell of the chemical. I immediately came out of the toilet and didn’t continue to use the chemical because I was afraid to harm the baby inside my tummy.

I remember the case of some Mesothelioma patients who were exposed to asbestos. It’s quite sad that their lives have been at risk through the exposure of asbestos.

I guess we should be more careful with different chemicals now because it might affect our health in the near future.

Of Homeschool, Boarding School and University

I’m going to start homeschooling my li’l girl next month. Since we are expatriates living here in Thailand, we see homeschooling as the best option for our kids. We can’t send our kids to a local school since everything will be taught in Thai. On the other hand, sending them to International schools would be very costly.

Homeschool will be my best option for my kids as of this moment. But when they reach the University level, online schools would be the better option for them.

I’ve just browsed through the WGU site and found out that they are a more affordable online university compared to other universities. They have a wide range of online degrees and courses available and can also offer financial help to some students. I’ve also heard that they’ve got a great  online business degree offered. I know it’s still a long time to think about this for my daughter but it pays to think and plan ahead.
