We have our PC placed downstairs. Every morning when I come down from the room, I always make sure to turn on the PC and play some Christian music from the internet. Then, when time permits, I would quickly check my emails and sites for my online ‘business’. Then, I proceed to my daily routine and chores.
But in between all these daily chores, I usually take a peek in my PC and see who’s online in YM or Facebook, or see if I have new business opportunities or emails. Then, the ‘peek’ becomes 5 minutes , 10 minutes and the next thing I know, I’m already stuck in the PC for 30 minutes chatting with my friends with my unfinished household chores.
I guess, I will have to stop this habit of turning on the PC in the morning with my unfinished tasks. I’ll have to wait for my chores to be over before sitting on that chair and checking my mails.
Or maybe yet, we should move the PC upstairs so that I don’t get tempted. But then again, I will still be tempted to use my laptop ( which we bought in the shop with great laptop deals) and do the same thing.. I guess, it’s just about giving priority to my work and self control.
