Domestic Diva Wannabe

During the past days, I’ve been constantly ‘complaining’ over my seemingly unending household chores. I guess I need help in organizing my time and my house though this site called FlyLady.net.

I’ve actually signed up for a free account in this site a few years ago, but I was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of emails that they send everyday. We didn’t have a good internet access in our house at that time yet, so I don’t get a chance to check my mails often. So, you can imagine the shock when I open my mails and get flooded by Fly Lady.

But I guess now, I’m quite ready to subscribe again. They really have a lot of tips and tricks to keep your household on it’s tip top shape. But, I have to wait for awhile before I subscribe in their site. We have some visitors coming this week, so my schedule will be a bit busy and I don’t won’t to be so overwhelmed with so much information at this time. Maybe when my schedule becomes normal again. Hmmm.. let’s say in 2 weeks time?

I’m blessed that I have a hubby who’s a Handy Man. Indeed, life is easier and more convenient with a handy man Hubby.

You see, we’re in the process of interior decorating our house right now, but in a very tight budget. So, we can’t afford buying those expensive accents, fixtures and accessories.

So, we just have to make them ourselves. Just like our shelves in our living room, my Hubby made all of that by himself. And we only spent about 500 Baht ( a little over 10$) to beautify our living room area. Our ceiling lamps only cost around 100 baht each ( 2-3$) since he made it himself. Great huh? Now, that interior decorating in a budget by Mr. Handy Man.. ( Photos to follow soon).

Why is  it the chores seem to be unending? When you’ve felt you’ve accomplished a lot by cleaning and washing the toilets and mopping the floor, just then you see the mountain of laundry that piling in the laundry area. Arrghh..

I know I should have a kind of a system here. I just don’t know how to do it and where to start. It would really be nice if I have all the time to do the household work by myself but taking care of my kids makes it more challenging.

Anyways, let me move on..and wash all the dishes in the sink..
